The Spanish-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (SNCC) in Madrid has presented ACCIONA with the prestigious Borgund 2024 award. This prize is awarded annually to those who, in the public or private sector, have contributed to improving economic and commercial relations between Spain and Norway, opening up markets and serving as a point of reference for enhancing the value of organizations and people who manage trade between the two countries in a professional and sustainable manner.
Antonio Roig global head of Construction Business Development, received the award on behalf of ACCIONA at the 10th edition of the awards, held in Madrid and attended by international leaders from the Spanish-Norwegian business world, as well as Norway’s Ambassador in Spain, Nils Haugstveit.
ACCIONA IN NORWAY
ACCIONA has solid experience in the Norwegian infrastructure sector. The company has participated in emblematic projects such as the design and construction of the Follo Line railway tunnels, linking the cities of Oslo and Ski, and the Sandbukta - Moss - Såstad (SMS) railway line, part of the Bane NOR intercity program, which aims to promote connections between the country’s main cities and reduce traffic around the capital, Oslo.
