Today, about 1 billion people live more than 2 km from a roadway, 940 million live without electricity, and 663 million lack improved drinking water sources.
ACCIONA participates in the entire infrastructure construction value chain, from the identification of opportunity, design and execution, to the operation and maintenance of the constructed works, using the most advanced and innovative techniques.

The project comprised building a 612-m cable-stayed bridge over the main channel of the river, plus two overpasses, measuring approximately 611 m and 521 m on each side of the river, making a total length of 1.75 km.
The central pile, located on Rędzińska Island in the middle of the river, is 122 m tall, the highest structure of its kind in Poland. The bridge was the first in Poland to be fitted with sensors to detect damage or deterioration in any of its components.
