One of the most modern jetties of Spain

The marina of Roda de Bará, located on the Costa Dorada, is one of the most modern jetties of Spain and the largest of Tarragona coast.

The port is named after the village of Roda de Bará, located 10 minutes from the city of Tarragona. In the design of the port, attention has been paid to the smallest detail with the intention of satisfying not only the technical needs of all types of boats but also to ensure the comfort, relaxation and pleasure of the moorer.

 

The new port has a surface area of 191,771 m2. Of this, 97,217 m2 is land area, while the remaining 94,554 m2 is water area. It is designed to accommodate 725 boats, mainly of medium size (from 8 m to 20 m in length), 10 of which will be able to exceed 20 m, and 78 of less than 8 m which will be moored in the dry dock.

It has a dinghy sailing area with a surface area of 1,500 m2, a dry dock with a floor area of 898 m2, prepared for vessels of up to 7 metres in length, and a dry dock with more than 9,000 m2 that is prepared for all types of work. It also has a workshop building with a surface area of 408 m2 and a crane with a capacity of 10 tonnes.

Roda de Bará Port also offers 132 warehouses with sizes between 7 m and 9.5 m. The concessionaire also operates a parking area with 511 spaces. The port also includes 7,000 m2 of commercial area and 5,000 m2 of green space.

Among the services provided by the port are a petrol station, toilets, WI-FI, surveillance, security, seamen, diver service, boat storage in dry dock, cleaning and servicing of boats and a selective waste collection system, including used oils and filters.
